I am LOVING these things called "In The Hoop" projects! They are embroidery projects where the entire project can be made in the hoop. For example, I recently made a tennis bag tag for my Mom. It turned out SO cute! And she absolutely loved it...which of course is the main thing! :) Another in the hoop project I've enjoyed making is keychains. This one is for my oldest daughter. She loves the navy and lime color combo. Turned out pretty cute, huh? On these keychains, there is a little pocket so you can put a lipstick tube, chapstick, or even some cash if you just want to carry your keys. I am really enjoying mine ~The other thing I have been making are appliqued items. I know that may seem funny seeing as applique has been around forever, but even though I have been embroidering for some time now, I was always scared of the whole applique thing. I have conquered my fears! Thanks goodness I already have the applique scissors...those things sure can get expensive!! I have aready accomplished bibs and burp cloths. Now it on to my next project ... a kids apron for my daughter. I will be sure to post a pic when I'm finished with it!
